On 12 November 2019 Martin Sněhota was appointed a new Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) of PKP CARGO INTERNATIONAL. He replaces Viktor Bystrian, who will continue his career with new goals in the PKP CARGO INTERNATIONAL Group.
Martin Sněhota has years of managerial experience in sales, purchasing and managing manufacturing companies. Prior to joining PKP CARGO INTERNATIONAL, he was the Purchasing Manager at MSA and Fermat CZ, later became the Sales and Purchasing manager of VOP CZ. In 2018 he was named CEO and Member of the Board of LUCCO, a part of the BR Group, and likewise the CEO of Spojmont OSTRAVA. At VŠB-Technical University of Ostrava he studied and transport, transport equipment and technology at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, and industry economics and management at the Faculty of Metallurgy and Materials Engineering.

I expect the entire sales team to take a very active client approach in developing the business and potential that the company certainly has. We wish to employ joint teamwork in providing premium care to our current customers, whom we certainly appreciate, but also to take advantage of synergies within PKP CARGO in order to seek out new business opportunities for the company both in the domestic market and across Europe,” says Martin Sněhota, new Chief Commercial Officer of PKP CARGO INTERNATIONAL.
