On 21 August 2018, at the headquarters of Advanced World Transport (AWT), a member of PKP CARGO Group, the CQS and IQNet certificates for management systems and the diamond certificate were officially presented to the CEO of AWT, David Kostelník, together with Maciej Walczyk, the vice-chairman of the Board of Directors of AWT, by CQS executive director Jana Olšanská.
The CQS certification company is a member of IQNET, an international network of certification bodies, and the diamond certificate is awarded only to those companies that have four or more management systems certified. This makes AWT one of 30 companies that have received the special diamond certificate in the twenty-five year history of the certification company.
“Our company has been intensively involved with management and quality systems since the 1990s. We received our first certified quality control system in 1997 and each additional successful certification of our management systems has not only meant recognition of our work, but also our commitment to continue providing our customers with high quality, comprehensive services across our entire portfolio,” said David Kostelník, CEO of the AWT Group.
AWT was awarded the diamond certificate for its CQS certificates for standards ISO 9001, ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001 and ISO 50001 respectively for quality control, environmental, occupational safety and health, and energy management systems. Along with the CQS certificates, AWT also received the prestigious internationally recognized IQNet certificates.
“AWT has been our customer since 1997. This year’s audits at AWT were incredibly successful and the company received not only the prestigious diamond certificate but also appreciation as one of our most valued customers,” said Jana Olšanská, the executive director of CQS.
The success of AWT in the certification of management systems was recognized on Customer Day by the CQS certification company, which took place in May to mark the 25th anniversary of the founding of CQS. On 22 May 2018, representatives of AWT received the recognition of most valued customer directly from CQS chairman, Tomáš Hruška.
