As of 1st May 2018, the new Chief Operating Officer of Advanced World Transport a.s. (AWT), member of PKP CARGO, shall become Jaromír Sládeček who now holds the position of Head of AWT Economic Department, operational section. He shall thus replace David Kostelník in this function, who was appointed on 20. April 2018 as Chairman of the Board of Directors and CEO of AWT.
Jaromír Sládeček has been engaged in AWT Group since 2001. His professional career in AWT began immediately after his studies, having been engaged here in various operating posts; such as transit specialist, rail transport technician, or system analyst. Since 2008 he has worked at the operation section, heading the Economic Department. Within the context of AWT Group he also served as a Member of the Supervisory Board of AWT Rail SK and AWT ROSCO and subsequently also as a Member of the Board of AWT Rail SK. He graduated from economics at the Faculty of Natural Science at University of Ostrava and VSB – Technical University of Ostrava.
Upon implementation of the above changes the management of AWT shall operate in the following composition:
