The international logistics conference SpeedCHAIN, which takes place on 7 and 8 November 2018 at the traditional venue of Břevnov Monastery in Prague, is now the largest event of its kind in Central Europe. Every year almost 650 people involved in logistics gather here. A partner of the conference is the AWT Group, a member of the PKP CARGO Group.
Its mission is to contribute to the formation and development of modern logistics in the Czech Republic and its effective integration into the regional logistics of the Central European region in relation to the European common market. It provides space for broad professional discussions mainly by logistics experts in industrial production, international trade and contractual logistics.
The program will include a lecture by Viktor Bystrian, the CCO of the AWT Group, this year on the theme of the development of intermodal terminals in CR. “The SpeedCHAIN conference is a unique opportunity to meet with prominent people in logistics and transport and also to establish new contacts with potential business partners. We use our presentation to talk about what is new in intermodal transport in the AWT Group or the new opportunities for Terminal Paskov after its modernization and expansion, which is currently underway. The plan, for example, is to use the transshipment depot more and more for intermodal transport throughout the entire group in the Three Seas logistics triangle or from China along the New Silk Road to European countries,” says Viktor Bystrian.
The conference is organized by the RELIANT Group, it represents an important platform for the exchange of expertise and ideas and provides an opportunity to highlight examples of best practice on a local, regional, European and global scale.
The conference is simultaneously CZ/EN interpreted and is mainly intended for top managers of Czech and multinational logistics service providers, carriers, supply chain managers, IT specialists, consultants, government officials, representatives of academic institutions and logistics providers from the business and manufacturing sectors.
An integral part of the program is the VIP Logistic Rendezvous gala evening, with the award of the prestigious prize for the logistics personality of the year GRYF Supply Chain Award.
