The 14th edition of the international InnoTrans trade fair will take place in Berlin from 24-27 September. The fair takes place every two years and is the largest in Europe dedicated to rail transport, traffic technology, innovative components, vehicles and communication systems. InnoTrans is organised by Messe Berlin. PKP CARGO, together with PKP Group companies, will take part in the event in Berlin.
The exhibition is divided into five segments: rail technology, rail infrastructure, public transport, interiors and tunnel construction. A unique feature of InnoTrans is the outdoor and track exhibition, where all kinds of transport solutions – from rail tank cars to high-speed trains – are presented on a 3,500-metre-long track. In 2022, 2,771 exhibitors from 56 countries filled 42 exhibition halls with their products and services, and 137,403 visitors from 137 countries got to know them. A total of 142 vehicles (including 14 buses) were showcased at the open-air and track and bus exhibition. The trade fair programme, discussion forums, exhibitor presentations and various conferences enriched the trade fair offer. According to the organisers, the exhibition space at InnoTrans was already 99 per cent booked at the beginning of this year – new trains, live electric buses, artificial intelligence, Career Boost, world premieres or the first Railway Influencer Festival. InnoTrans will once again underline its importance as the world’s largest trade fair in the mobility sector of tomorrow.
