On 17 July 2018, Piotr Matuszyński was appointed new CFO of Advanced World Transport (AWT), member of the PKP CARGO Group. He replaced Tomáš Král who was dismissed from the position of CFO on 11 July 2018 and his professional career will continue outside the AWT Group.
Piotr Matuszyński has long experience as a manager in the finance sector. He was a director of finance and controlling in international firms and companies listed on the stock exchange. Before he joined the AWT Group, he held managerial finance positions from 1997, e. g. in companies Coty Poland and PTK Centertel, then from 1999 a controlling director in Orange Polska and controlling director and deputy CFO in T-Mobile Polska. In 2014-2016 he was a CFO of GTS Polska. In his professional career he was also an independent consultant for companies in the field of telecommunication, power industry or transportation. He studied economics at the Uniwersytet Gdańsk in Poland and Université Lumière Lyon 2 in France.
